Taoist famous mountain north Wudang

 

  北武当山位于山西省吕梁山中部，方山县境内，是我国道教发源地，也是北方道教圣地。整个景区由72峰、32崖、24涧组成。山中有道观、石刻、壁画、泥塑等景观，主峰真武峰海拔1,983米。北武当山自然资源丰富，有世界珍禽褐马鸡，以及豹、麝、狍子等大型哺乳动物。主要的山石景观有：古猿望日、石猪受难、九龙出洞、石象守山、天壶倾露、石羊朝圣、石龟下蛋、石虎、石蛤蟆、龟蛇斗智等。最令人称奇的是“龟蛇斗智”奇观。

  North Wudang Mountain is located in the middle of Luliang Mountain in Shanxi Province, in Fangshan County. It is the birthplace of Taoism in China and the holy land of Taoism in northern China. The whole scenic area is composed of 72 peaks, 32 cliffs and 24 streams. There are Taoist temples, stone carvings, murals and clay sculptures in the mountain. The main peak of Zhenwu Peak is 1,983 meters above sea level. North Wudang Mountain is rich in natural resources, including the world's rare birds brown pheasant, as well as leopard, musk deer, roe deer and other large mammals. The main rock landscape are: the ancient ape looking at the sun, stone pig suffering, Kowloon out of the cave, stone elephant shou mountain, day pot dew, stone sheep pilgrimage, stone turtle eggs, stone tiger, stone toad, turtle snake wits and so on. The most amazing is the "turtle and snake wits" spectacle.
